What is a CENOMAR?
A Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) is an official document issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that certifies an individual has not contracted any marriage. It is essentially a "certificate of singleness."
If a marriage record is found under the person's name, the PSA will issue a Certificate of Marriage (CEMAR) instead, which will detail the marriage records found.
Who Needs a CENOMAR?

Many foreign embassies require a CENOMAR for visa applications, especially for fianc(é)e or spousal visas.

Some financial institutions or benefit-granting agencies may request it to verify civil status.
